just uploaded a free small batch of 3 3d prints series i have been working on to my thingiverse. these models are available for your printing pleasure, to cluster up some space in your space. i’ll be releasing more 3d prints that you can buy in the near future. let me know if you are interested. i’ve been building some building blocks for my codex art work in processing, openframewors, max, pd. as some of you might be aware i am moving my code repositories to https://github.com/s373. currently there’s a masterclass in processing — intro to simulations, games, audio and video fun, some of my processing libs, one addon for [...]
for 32-bit difference machine i developed a simple firmware on the arduino side to control two servo motors and one. it had to be lightweight and fast, to withstand continual changes at 10-30fps.
here is a video of the piece working built on the 64-bits wks day (may14th) @ who galeria during my 64-bits exihibit.

flob is at version 001s. sibling faster. here’s a linux test. linux still doesnt cope well with weird camera sizes i love, ie, 128x128px, so framerates drop on beautiful netbooks. [...]
another update to my blob tracking system in processing.
the main changes this time i made a static variable to determine the life time of the tracked blobs. this allows for the blobs to be present x frames in the space when the image doesnt capture a blob in the current frame from comparing with [...]
flob is a library for processing that i built around a simple flood-fill like algorithm. today version 001m comes out. a fresh build of some upgrades under test for some time. mainly luma modes to select which colors should be matched. in flob, all happens in cpu land, takes images as input, and calculates motion [...]
