Last week i've had the opportunity to collaborate with National Theatre Wales in the making of 3 scenes for their show DeGabay which took place around Cardiff Bay at several locations on march 3rd. http://nationaltheatrewales.org/degabay http://nationaltheatrewales.org/degabaycredits. So i've worked at castle arcade, ntw's headquarters, building fun joysticks for this interesting production.

In scene 1, after presenting your somali passport, you were scanned and skeletonnized through an abstract interactive glitchy xray machine, which features ofxFlob. Scene 2 presents a great av design by Jon Street where several monitors are displaying interactive facial replacement code where incoming visitors would have their faces replaced with pictures from the passports, using open cv's haar cascade tracking code. The final scene was an animation screened at the Senned's window, where flocks of words organize, form and bring to life the final degabay puppet which then makes its appearance at the bay (using brand new ofxBoids i ported during the making of this production).

Kudos to all the NTW crew & poets & artists involved in the making of this show, a very intense and fluid week, in particular i'd like to thank Jon Street, Lucy Davies, David Evans, Jon McGrath, Jonathan Holmes, Claire Wilkins, Paul Harrison, Iain MacRitchie, Naomi Heath, Josh West-Burnham, Katherine Jewkes, Kyle, and many more i am forgetting names but remembering for long times.
