Starting 2020, main artistic activities are now being organized by ArteCódigo.pt cultural association, so expect more updates there. s373.net/x continuum will now focus more on apps, codex research, machines, bio-electronics, continuum continues being s373.net/x web log outpost.
Artistic research continues throughout the continuum, documented in exhibitions, catalogs, app publications. Mostly within project Os Lobos em Portugal (2020-22), lots of nice new machines, firmwares, softwares, artworks, bio-electronics.
Now take a look at all these nice apps running resiliently still today, almost 10 years after their launch (some more). After all, they were source code crafted for many many hours, compiled, signed and designed to run for at least 25 years, which is a requirement, for instance, at Google’s Play Store. If only IT industries would commit to support their OS’s and devices for as long. But no, there is still lots of time, space and resources to please shareholders, to maximize profits while green washing them, it’s not like the climate is changing or anything, it’s not like resources are scarce. We can always Mars, can’t we?
During this aftermath period of continuum silence, here is a brief listing summary of continuum updates never made it to this blog, but continue, now under a more resilient and efficient structure like ArteCódigo. Here are most of André Sier events during 2020+ that our studio webdesigned, compiled some codexes, lent lots of materials to events and overall produced exquisite and cutting edge visions of bio-electronic technological ecological arts.
